About The passion and purpose

Let's Get Aquainted

Thank you for visiting!

A little about my personal gadolinium journey.

Before 2016, I was healthy and very active, loving all things outdoors.

From 2016-18, I suffered multiple pancreatitis episodes, requiring me to spend several days in the hospital each time.

What I didn't know at the time was that each time they did an MRI with a GBCA (Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agent) my body was being poisoned and left retaining and accumulating amounts of the Gadolinium.

I was never given a consultation or information about the fact that Gadolinium is Toxic to humans, nor was I asked about giving "Informed consent" before being injected.

In May 2018, the manufacturers sent out a letter that, in part, acknowledged some amount of Gadolinium is retained in everyone, in the brain, bones, tissue, and organs.  During that time, thanks to a group of patient advocates, the FDA updated Gadolinium with Box Warnings and asked that all Medication Guides be updated. In the FDA meeting, it was communicated - anyone receiving an MRI with Contrast should receive a copy of the medication guide and an opportunity to give informed consent or decline contrast.

Then in 2023, the CDC released a statement to give more clarity about Gadolinium Toxicity - in part, their statement said -

"Gadolinium toxicity has the potential to cause disease in humans, and even in small amounts may be associated with significant morbidity and mortality.  Gadolinium Toxicity can affect many body systems including the musculoskeletal, brain, skin, renal, and neurologic systems."

So much has come to light since I was first poisoned; we've learned a lot. I've learned a lot.

After I was poisoned with Gadolinium, I began searching and learning answers, such as -

  • Gadolinium, a rare earth metal, is TOXIC to humans - it serves no biological reason to be found in the human body.
  • Some amount of Gadolinium is retained in everyone who receives an MRI/MRA with contrast.
  • There is no FDA-approved cure or antidote for Gadolinium.
  • There are multiple worldwide support groups and websites available to help patients learn about this toxic man-induced poison.
  • Healthcare continues to inject this drug and toxic metal tens of millions of times annually (depending on who you ask)

If you are here, you may be struggling with Gadolinium retention, or perhaps you are just here out of curiosity to learn more. There are several files and links in the Resource section of this site that we hope will be helpful to you.

After connecting the dots in new ways that suddenly made sense to why I was suddenly sicker than imaginable following my own personal experiences with a GBCA (gadolinium-based contrast agent), I had an NDE (near death experience). From that day forward, my heart has been led to find ways to heal my body while at the same time be there in ways that might help others with similar experiences - connect the dots, understand, and know they are not alone.

Gadolinium has been an incredible and more often than not - challenging journey.

May the power of storytelling of the very real and personal stories afford -

  • New awareness about this drug.
  • Patients are left to triage and find answers to questions about their own changing health concerns, as they seek to learn, find helpful resources, and heal.
  • New and open dialogue - each of us having a seat at the table to figure this out.
  • Partnerships with a seat at the table for everyone are formed.
  • Change in positive ways be manifested.

Gadolinium changes our DNA, our health, and our relationships. Through sharing and being open about our experiences, it is my hope and that of many that patients feel empowered, while the FDA and medical communities gather information to help us.

God has gifted me, and I am blessed. All the glory is His. This continues to be an incredible journey - filled with many lessons and blessings. My heart is filled with gratitude to all those I have met.

Blessing to each of you reading this, never give up - whatever your struggle.

In kindness,
